Continuum Preparedness will bring consistent, unified, and successful emergency preparedness strategies to IAAPA’s upcoming expos.
GREENWOOD VILLAGE, CO, July 26, 2022 – The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) has selected Continuum Preparedness as their exclusive provider for emergency preparedness services and as their Official Preparedness Partner of IAAPA for 2022 & 2023.
Following Continuum Preparedness’s design and launch of a new emergency preparedness program for the IAAPA Expo 2021, the partnership was extended to further implement IAAPA’s ongoing efforts to increase and expand their global emergency preparedness. Including risk assessment, emergency response plans, creating emergency training materials, and facilitating emergency response exercises for all three (3) IAAPA Expos, Continuum will serve as a Global Sponsor for IAAPA Expo Europe in London, UK this September, the IAAPA Expo in Orlando, Florida this November, and IAAPA Expo Asia in spring of 2023.
“Safety is the top priority of the attractions industry, and that extends to the way we prepare for and manage our global expos,” said Hal McEvoy, IAAPA’s president and chief executive officer. “Partnering with Continuum allows us to have thorough, cohesive operational responses for a variety of emergencies, so we know we’re ready to protect our attendees, exhibitors, and IAAPA team.”
“We are thrilled to expand our partnership with this premier trade association on both a local and a global level,” said James Johnston, Co-Founder of Continuum Preparedness. “We know that IAAPA cares deeply about its members, staff, and partners and that health and safety is their top priority. The attractions industry looks up to IAAPA in park safety and security, so we are looking forward to creating and implementing a consistent, unified approach to their strategic emergency preparedness and management initiatives.”
